Our Family for Families First is a private, charitable foundation established by John G. Picerne in June 2006. Our Family for Families First is committed to supporting military families in the pursuit of higher education, establishing a tradition of community service and encouraging professional career paths through education, internships and mentoring programs. Our Family for Families First will be a national resource for military families to identify educational opportunities throughout the United States by:

• Supporting children of service members in the placement in and providing scholarships to local and national community and four-year colleges and universities.
• Helping service members’ spouses in identifying potential educational opportunities at and providing grants for community colleges and universities.
